Yely Pillot: vocalist/ bassist/ composer/arranger, was born in Puerto Rico in 1981. Since early age she had an immense passion for music. She started her academic studies in music at age 9 at the "UHS" Elementary and University High School of the University of Puerto Rico. Such craze for music made her finish at an advanced level playing first flute in the concert band under the direction of Prof. Juan Correa Lago while at the same time she played the acoustic bass for the schools strings orchestra directed by Prof. Nestor Hernandez. Their concert band represented Puerto Rico in the Festival "Music Maestro Please" in New Orleans in 1996, Boston, MA and Orlando, FL. In 1999 she joined the orchestra as a flutist at the University of Puerto Rico.
