My music has been described as a hybrid between Neil Young and Outlaw Country. I decided upon the name Bumpkin for no apparent reason back in early 2003, before I had even written even one drinking song. More Songs About Drinking And Women Who Left, my latest album (2007), has achieved some noteriety amoung Outlaw aficionados, including Editor's Pick by Cdbaby in Outlaw Country, a top 10 showing in Ourstage in June 2007 for Nowhere to Go (Americana), as well as some airplay on independent radio.
