Overview: Erick Tandy aka Tan-D. I fell in love with the Streets at an early age which led to me being sent off at the age 14. While in a group home I managed to finish high school and earn a football scholarship to the University to Louisville. I quit after the first year and got into the robbery game which earned me my first prison Stint. After I got out I turned to the dope game which almost led to my third strike but my love for hiphop saved my life. I hooked up with Ralph "Mamaz Boy " Mumford and Ryan "J-Melody" Solomon aka Kyng of Da Beatz Productions and started pursuing the Rap game. My mixtape, Taxfree, features Allstar and Big V from the NappyRoots. The cd was hosted by Dutty Laundry the Game and all of the music was done by Kyng of Da Beatz Productions. The cd has landed me a distribution deal with Jon Hay's Hoopla/Fontana/Universal label. My cd Guerrilla Grind is schedule for release on 9/9/09. My video we hustle we grind will air in july on BET and MTV-J.
