Multi-Talented Artist Richard Ray Feury not only writes and sings but plays numerous instruments.
Guitar being his primary instrument with lead and effects as a strong suit. As for other instruments he is also proficient at Bass and occasionally plays keyboards.
Learning to sing and play music came naturally since his Mother, Grandfather, Grandmother, 4 Uncles and 2 Aunts were singers and musicians. There was nothing to do but to learn!
Richard has been in many bands over the years starting at 15 years old with a Bluegrass group called The Youngest Grass Alive where he played guitar and sang lead and harmony.
At 17 he moved on to Country Music where he played rhythm and also sang.
Upon moving from his home state of Virginia at 19 Richard found a home in Delaware and Maryland where he formed his first band and later started playing with a well known group in the area called The Country Ramblers.
The Country Ramblers opened for many Nashville acts from the 1970's into the 1980's. Richard with this band opened for names like, The Earl Thomas Band, The Kendell's, The Osborne Brothers, Bill Monroe, Billie Crash Cradock, Cal Smith, Mel Street and many others.
Over the years he has written and Copyrighted 14 of his own songs and Co-written many others.
