Overview: Made up of five musicians intent on making the live music sound like the recorded sound, the band from the Delta has made what many are calling the finest southern rock album in quite some time. Taking sounds from many genres, the music can not be defined as any one sound and while the band strongly identifies with rock and rock radio, it's not an easily pigeonholed crowd. While loyal southern rock fans show up in droves, the band also appeals to lovers of blues, jam bands, reggae and seemingly everyone else. Not wanting to imitate bands that have come before them, ZWR pushes only to mimick their passion for the music and their southern roots.
