Billy Allen first fell in love with music as a young child. He would listen to his dad's Beatles records and learn the songs on guitar. Once he was in high school, he played guitar for two different rock bands. After high school, he became part of a band called Pictures of Echoes, which was a Screamo/Post-Hardcore band. This band allowed him the opportunity to familiarize himself with playing in front of a live audience; something he fell in love with. In 2003 he joined the Marine Corps Reserve and remained a part of Pictures of Echoes for a few years. Billy eventually left Pictures of Echoes and started writing his own music. Once he started playing Country music, he found his niche; a style that he could fully express his musicianship and feel at home with. In 2007, Billy's battalion got mobilized and eventually deployed to Iraq. "Til They All Come Home" was the product of an immense number of emotions that he and his fellow Marines had to deal with. He played daily for his fellow Marines when they were in the barracks, and even in Iraq. Upon returning home from Iraq in 2008, Billy wrote more songs and made the final decision that he would pursue a long-awaited career in the music industry.
