Overview: Formed in June of 2010 out of Modesto, CA, Beneath The Embers was originally named Through the Threshold. They are a metalcore band that blends crushing guitar riffs, soaring leads, merciless drum grooves, and deep powerfull lyrics. They are heavily influenced by bands such as Lamb of God, As I Lay Dying, Bleeding Through, Children of Bodom, Metallica and Killswitch Engage. The original lineup had a different drummer and singer. However for personal reasons, they needed to be replaced. Since recruiting Travis Hancock in eary 2011, and Mike Cassara in May of the same year, their sound has gone through much change for the better. Their new sound is bigger, tighter, and more diverse as the new members bring a wide range of dynamic possibilties to the table.zZ With a new lineup, and sound, a new band name was only fitting and in June of 2011, Beneath The Embers would be their new official name. Depths of Insanity was released 9/30/2011, worldwide.
