Johnathan Trent Jones, Jr., stage name JGOONIE was born May 4, 1993 in the hard streets of Saint

Petersburg, FL. His mother then 21 years old, who worked and attended college, knew struggles from

the start of JGOONIE’s life, with his father coming in and out of their lives at his convenience. JGOONIE

was destined and determined to beat the odds and have his name in lights and he always strived to

be the best at everything he does. He started rapping at the age of 12, always in trouble locked in his

room on punishment he turned away from playing video games to fulfill his dreams of being a rapper

and putting his thoughts on paper making his pen and pad his life. Brought up the youngest of 3kids in a

single parent household was never easy. He watches his mom struggle to pay the bills.

"I orbit around rap as if hip-hop was the sun"

As time went on JGOONIE lyrical talents evolved and he gain more recognition for his effort and hard

work by many. He went from recording on tape recorders and mp3 players to having his own home

recording studio which he financed himself. Still to this day he's adding to it, after writing, producing,

and recording his own music he then started recording for friends and family. Seeing the potential to

broaden his horizon he turned his passion into a small business by charging artist for studio time and

production work. JGOONIE didn’t stop there, realizing if he could cut out the middle man he could be

even more successful, so he began creating graphics for himself and others, such as album cover, logo’s,

and pictures.

The year was 2010, JGOONIE in his prime and tired of waiting for his time to shine, he got in touch

with one of Florida’s hottest DJ Purfiya to host his first hit single Ball Till I Fall on Coast to Coast Mix

Tape Worldwide Hustling Vol. 3. Shortly after JGOONIE uses avenues in front of him to get his talent

heard, he goes to perform his song in front of his fellow student body, after receiving an overwhelming

response by the student he goes on to perform more of his music at the school’s talent show and again

he rocks the stage and the crowd is hooked on JGOONIE. With so much loved showed at these shows

JGOONIE is even more determined and steadfast, so he goes back to work in the lab and produced more

songs for his fans.

"I am hip hop as if rap was my DNA"

A few more years pass and still nothing until hooking up with his manager Bezeled Rose in 2012 at his

former place of employment, Bezeled immediately recognized his passion for music and his talent and

she went right to work booking him shows, setting his career in a path for success. The journey has

begun and soon to rip stages near a city near you.
