Overview: Two-piece Boulder based band, The Last Thoughts Of Ezra Pound (Drew Creasman and Jeff Williams) are multi-instrumentalists and vocalists known for their lyricism, dissonance, and breakneck dynamics. The band springs from traditions of noise-ambient shoegaze, post-punk, experimental jazz, delta blues, spoken-word poetry, and folk.
Recently chosen from among five hundred artists as one of three bands to perform at the Ogden Theater at the 2012 Mile High Beer Festival, as well as the Boulder Theater for the 2012 Boulder Brew Fest, LAST THOUGHTS has also performed at many Denver and Boulder venues such as Cervantes, the Hi-Dive, the Nomad Theater, and the Rock 'n' Soul Cafe.
"The Last Thoughts of Ezra Pound immediately caught my attention while playing on the Pearl Street Mall," says Billl of Rockit Productions. "I booked them on the spot! They have since become a regular appearance at Rueben's in Boulder. Their unique style and presence have gathered rave reviews from the fans!"
