The Breakfast Machine includes Drummer Zach Mayo, Bass Brandon Reynolds, Guitar Ryan Sobczak, Guitar Chris Mansfield, and Vocalist Meghann Moore. The band began in 2009 and has been playing strong ever since, adding Zach Mayo as the permanent drummer in late 2010 and guitarist Chris Mansfield in 2012. Their debut album, "A Pitch to the Wind," was released April 2012 as an 8-track. From that release, they competed in Dallas's Rock the Park for the Homegrown Festival, nearly winning but given a "second place" position based on genre. In the summer of 2012 Meghann Moore won Fort Worth Weekly's Award for Best Female Vocalist. Later that same year, the band won Dallas's Best Rock Act for the Dallas Observer Music Awards (DOMA). This coming year, they plan to release their new song "Getz" as a single as well as a new music video, to lead up to their next album release come April 2013.
