Overview: Jake Sharar, born AUG 31st, 1987, I was born and raised here in Denton, Tx. Grew up in the middle of the punkrock and hiphop subcultures, and somehow this stuff came out... alternative, acoustic music. Also singer for a hardrock/metal band called Red Six Rise. Started choir in 1st grade, music lessons, Violin in 4th grade, guitar in 6th, and eventually learned how to play virtually anything with strings. Graduated from Ryan High in 2005 at 17, went on a trip to Mexico and traveled the US via Greyhound, making money panhandling, playing music, and skateboarding from city to city. Got hard into drugs, overdosed on heroin at age 18 and died for a few minutes, came back, made some more music. Had a short career in the army infantry, came back home only to go to prison for 2.5 years. Got out and continued with the music. Still kicking harder than ever and in my prime. That's the short version. Parts of the longer are classified. I also enjoy singing opera!
