Overview: "I've been singing since I was about 3. I was the small little thing in the church choir with just about the loudest mouth." she says. "I went on to sing in a little band with my uncle when I was in high school. My grandmother allowed us to hold very loud music sessions in her basement until the wee hours of the morning. We did this at least twice a week and the neighbors never complained. I think about this today and my mind just goes 'Wow'. We would sing in whatever clubs they would let me into, at weddings and at city festivals. It feels good to sing again."
