Overview: Alessandro Ayer is a Colombian American electronic artist, producer and singer/songwriter, as well as a multi-instrumentalist (guitar, piano, drums, bass). He began piano lessons at the age of 8 and guitar lessons at the age of 12. After experimenting with composing and producing various styles of music such as hip hop, indie pop, and jungle jazz rock, he began to fall in love with electronic dance music after hearing Blank & Jones’ epic trance track “Perfect Silence” for the first time. At that point, Alessandro decided he would pursue his passion in creating a musical platform of escapism that truly moves people on the dance floor. His first official remix comes of "Neyla," performed by Fady Maalouf, who was the 2008 runner up of German Idol and has recently released his third album, City of Gold. It blends electro house with dance pop and has a strong appeal towards world music. It is available on iTunes now.
