His influences range from country artists like George Strait & Tracy Byrd to soul legends like Otis Redding & Marvin Gaye. He writes & produces all of his own music & releases it on his own label, SPARKS Records. He is a member of the CMA & ASCAP. He Officially Endorses Wrangler Jeans & Resistol Hats. He produced his latest CD at Garth Fundis' Sound Emporium Studios in Nashville with Chad Carlson engineering and the following studio musicians: Dug Grieves, Pat McGrath, Joe Spivey, Robby Turner, 'Pig' Robbins, Wayne Killius, Dow Tomlin & Billy Davis.
