Overview: Veronica Leigh was born and raised in California. She has been surrounded by music her whole life took on the role of performer quite easily. She grew up listening to the sounds of Jazz, Blues and Country. Some of the first songs she ever sang were those of Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald, and Patsy Cline. She learned how to do licks and harmonize by studying horn music her father would listen to and singing along.
As she grew up Veronica took advantage of every music opportunity that came her way. She would sing in musicals, school chorus, she recorded with local artists, sang commercial jingles and education materials. She learned to play the piano, violin, and guitar and would take vocal advice from anyone who would give it. In her teen years she would travel to and from her home town and Los Angeles or San Francisco to record and/or perform. Most of the time she would leave directly after school and have to fly back the same night or early the next morning before class.
At the age of 18 Veronica
