Washington D.C. native, Lissy Trullie came to New York City to study art at Parsons, but her real passion was music. In 2009 she released her debut EP, Self-Taught Learner, which garnered her encouraging reviews and label attention from both Wichita Records in the U.K. and Downtown Records in the U.S. Produced by John Hill (Santigold, M.I.A., Shakira) and David Sitek (TV On the Radios, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Liars), her self-titled debut album is slated for release this year.
